In collaboration with Crossroads Community Association, we hosted a community design workshop in early February 2020.

We worked as a team to develop a design process that reflected community input and our academic training.






Recognizing local opportunities / 


From our design process, we developed an seven-step DIY visioning exercise for Calgary communities.




Rediscover Crossroads / 


Using the process we developed, we came up with our own vision for Crossroads.




Diagrams and details / 


 We used diagrams to explain our big dreams and design rationale for the future of four areas (“hearts”) in Crossroads.




Connective tissue /  


We connected our four “hearts” with a connective tissue. We used diagrams to illustrate key elements of the connective tissue cross-section.
