Research Outline
This research project intends to collectively co-create the future of Calgary’s downtown. The collaboration of various stakeholders to investigate the role of downtown as a shared space in the city will focus on developing strategies for the downtown’s meaningful activation over the coming month.
Funding
The city’s economic center has faced many challenges in recent years owing to economic turmoil. Coupled with the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020, the downtown is in crisis mode.
This research project intends to collectively co-create the future of Calgary’s downtown. The collaboration of various stakeholders to investigate the role of downtown as a shared space in the city will focus on developing strategies for the downtown’s meaningful activation over the coming month.
