What is the relevance of this national and international discussion on racism in general, Black and Indigenous Lives in particular for our southern Alberta region? Understanding history is part of this journey towards inclusion and equality. The story of the Tsuut’ina People, Treaty 7 signing, and how the reserve was established is a small piece of this puzzle.
